How does APEX find and score matches?
Each model you track in CONFIG is checked against listings from supported marketplaces. Every match gets a score from 0 to 100, based mostly on how closely it fits your criteria, its price against your budget and the market, and its mileage for its age. AI adds a small adjustment for things like condition and red flags in the listing. Scores of 95 or more are Exceptional Matches.
Which marketplaces does APEX search?
APEX searches major US car marketplaces and enthusiast auction sites for listings that match your tracked models. Each match links to the original listing. The sources we check change as we add and test new ones.
Why does a match say it may no longer be available?
Listings sell or get taken down. When a marketplace hasn’t shown a listing again for a while, APEX marks it as possibly unavailable and shows when it was last seen. Tracking stays active, and new matches keep arriving.
How do I delete my account?
In the app, open PILOT and tap Delete Account. This permanently deletes your account, tracked models and saved vehicles. Past support messages are kept without your name, email or account link.
How do I turn off AI analysis or usage analytics?
Open PILOT and use the switches under Privacy. Turning off AI Analysis stops sending scan photos and tracked models to our AI provider, and pauses your active tracked models until you turn it back on.
I’m not getting match alerts.
Check that notifications are on for APEX Car Finder in iOS Settings › Notifications, and that Push Alerts is on in PILOT. In the same iOS settings, set delivery to Immediate: with Scheduled Summary on, iOS holds alerts until the summary time. A Focus can also hide them unless APEX is allowed. Each tracked model only alerts for matches at or above its own score: edit the model and lower Notify me for scores to hear about more. Send Test Alert checks that alerts reach your phone.
